What is silt dam?
Silt dam, refers to the soil erosion area at all levels of ditches built to stop the mud, silt for the purpose of soil and water conservation engineering measures.
How does it work?
Specific practice is in the Loess Plateau region of the medium-sized small ditches and small rivers (control watershed area of 20 square kilometers or more), choose a narrow part of the mountain from both sides of the soil into a dam with the height of the hill, the entire ditch completely locked.
